The need

The present day educational system focuses excessively on route learning and very little on creativity. Many of the school teachers lack basic values in their lives so they fail to inspire students to inculcate social and spiritual values. Kids are burnt out due to excessive dependence on unnatural learning aids.

Lack of human values is resulting in immoral activities, violence and dissatisfaction among students.
Many concerned parents are thus seeking alternative education model for their kids that provides both values and skills.

The professionals today are leading a highly stressful life. They have no time to think of higher principles of living. Thus those who have spiritual inclinations are seeking a simpler life based on the principle of “plain living and high thinking”. The need for a community living centered around nature is deeply felt by such professionals.

Why BGIS

IIT Faculty Eight IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Graduates including our new director, have joined the school. This is an incredible event when eight IIT graduates are working together with other international faculty members to take this school to a revolutionary centre of learning among the best in the world. Health and Safety Rising early, lots of fresh air, clean water, sports and play are major contributors to a healthy body. Social and emotional health are achieved by good relationships and a balanced daily program. We nurture good health in all aspects of school life – social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. Traditional Culture The world famous Bablu das Mahasaya, master mrdanga teacher, is the leading teacher in our traditional music department. Students also learn kirtans, bhajans, shlokas and astakams. They participate in festivals, dramas, parikramas and yatras.

SQ (Spiritual Quotient) Vrindavan is the birthplace of Lord Krishna and is home to over 5,000 temples. Being located next to the vibrant ISKCON temple keeps our spiritual practice of devotional service a dynamic and energetic part of our school program. 100 % Results We have successfully built a balanced program that enables our students to perform at their best for the ICSE and ISC Board Exams in 10th and 12th. We offer in house tuitions and specialized teachers. Pure Vegetarian Diet We promote a culture of care and respect – for animals and for the planet earth. Being vegetarian promotes peace, keeps the body fit, and is better for the environment – it is earth, heart and soul friendly!

Small Classes We have 200 students in total. This keeps our classes and residential quarters small and allows for more personal teacher interaction. In a small school each individual gets a chance to shine. He is known by his name and is not just a face in the crowd. The school becomes a learning community.
